Inspirational (and mostly communist) designs

Back when Demonoid was still online, I downloaded one of the greatest torrents I've ever found. No, it wasn't the Sir Mix-A-Lot discography or the movie Breakin'. It was a collection of vintage poster designs, and today I'll share with you my favorite ones. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go download Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo.

...and Justice 4 All

Today, I've got a couple of Justice music videos to show you. First is D.A.N.C.E., a visually impressive video that shows just how "now" this band is. They are definitely down with the graphic t-shirts that are so popular with today's youth (according to a poll by USA Today).

Next, we have their video for We Are Your Friends. This video made me happy inside that I have no friends... I mean, no friends who would pull a prank on me like that. I've actually got plenty of friends. Famous ones too. Sinbad is on my speed dial...

My Playlist

The following is a list of the albums that I am currently listening to:
  • 1990s - Cookies
  • A-Trak - Dirty South Dance
  • Animal Collective - Strawberry Jam
  • Art Brut - It's A Bit Complicated
  • Battles - Mirrored
  • Figurines - When The Deer Wore Blue
  • Flight of the Conchords - The BBC Radio Series
  • The Go! Team - Proof Of Youth
  • Interpol - Our Love To Admire
  • King Khan & His Shrines - What Is?!
  • M.I.A. - Kala
  • Pharoahe Monch - Desire
  • St. Vincent - Marry Me (above)
  • Super Furry Animals - Hey Venus!
Go download them all now. You can trust me when I say that these are the greatest albums you could possibly be listening to at this moment. Not to brag, but I've got pretty good judgment when it comes to these things, although it's not quite as good as this guy's judgement:

FOTC + Human Giant + The State = Awesome

Last week's episode of Flight of the Conchords (one of the best shows on tv) featured Aziz Ansari from Human Giant (also one of the best shows on tv) as a racist fruit stand guy. Not only that, but in the first scene of the episode, a cast member from MTV's The State (which used to be one of the best shows on tv) had a small part. My head would've exploded if they got Gob from Arrested Development in there as well.
